RESPONSIBILITIES: : Software and hardware maintenance, patches, troubleshooting, technical support, and evaluation / installation / configuration of new products. : Monitors hardware utilization, database utilization, and system response times, and produces related system metrics to assist with performance tuning and capacity planning. : Researches and documents existing system software and hardware, and participates in the design and architecture of new processes and systems. : Direct and assist with the day-to-day operational duties related to the Linux environment, proactive maintenance, and system availability. QUALIFICATIONS: : Candidate should have 4-5 years Linux Engineering/Administration experience in an enterprise environment. : Experience implementing and supporting Apache Web Services and Tomcat in a Linux environment. : Configuration, testing, build, and deployment of Linux systems. : Experience with WebLogic and enterprise Java a plus. : Virtualization experience a plus. : Competent in Word, Excel, Visio and other tools used for documentation and presentation.
