9.	Completion  and documentation of all phases of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process per BOS and TQC requirements.

10.	Prepare and submit all necessary PPAP documentation per AIAG guidelines.

11.	Develop gauge concepts and procure gauges for specific programs.

12.	Work with component and tooling/equipment suppliers to improve products and resolve manufacturing problems.  This may involve travel to the specific customer or supplier location.

13.	Participate in Simultaneous Development Teams (SDT's).

14.	Participate in BOS internal audits as required.

15.	Train Quality and Production personnel in Quality requirements relating to specific programs.

16.	Support the Product Introduction Process through all phases of prototype fabrication and delivery.

-         Communication: Institute regular contact with stakeholders (process owner, work crews, contractors, and suppliers). Maintain detailed, complete, and timely records. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
-         Justification: Provide or assist with preparation of cost justification for projects when required.
-         Document: Develop layouts (by using drafting software Auto CAD) for new or existing processes, products, or equipment. Approve drawing releases. Prepare interim project reports (as directed) and completion project report. Provide copies of all technical documentation (drawings, flow charts, manuals, etc.) to project owner.
-         Demonstrate advanced knowledge of appropriate project management and engineering tools (Microsoft Projects, AutoCAD, etc.) and engineering processes (budgeting, planning, etc.)
-         Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations, Wonderware, drives, controls and the ability to perform hands-on PLC programming. Provide input and oversight on electrical portions of projects.
-         Generate business for E&amp;amp;C by developing and maintaining relationships with key plant personnel and discussing potential projects while on site. Be customer oriented and remain engaged with the customer even after a job is complete.
-         Perform other tasks as designated by the Engineering Manager.

      <description>FNC Maintenance Technician 
JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for support of FNC and Stress Relief operations processes to include root cause analysis and problem solving for all process operations; improvement modifications for both process and equipment; performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of process equipment and feeds. Works with other department associates to maximize operations performance, efficiency, and safety.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. In conjunction with process operations and engineering, works to understand production process or part problems and to devise and implement solutions and improvements. Performs standard process checks and adjustments to insure safety and quality of operations. Supports all facets of the FNC process as a team member.
2. Uses high degree of attention and concentration to evaluate, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and gas flow circuits and their associated color-coded wires, components and process feeds. Communicates verbally and in writing any deficiencies in the process equipment to supervisor, engineer, or other associates. 
3. Involves bending, stooping, crouching and reaching to access maintenance locations and lifting items weighing up to 70 lbs.
4. Has in depth understanding of thermal operations, controls, and control components to include but not limited to thermocouples and thermocouple control devices, care and repair / replacement of heating elements, performance and analysis of heating profiles, atmospheric control and air flow, gas flow, gas control, air and gas sampling and analysis. 
5. Installs, maintains and replaces parts on automated, semi-automated, and manual production.
6. Maintains all associated process equipment to include fabrication and welding of specialty metals using MiG, TiG, and other forms of metal bonding.
7. Maintains, inspects, and replaces as needed all process piping and feeds to include gas leak detection, leak repairs, refit and rework of piping and feeds.
8. Drives a forklift and operates hand and power tools. Works in generally good production, warehouse and loading dock conditions, wearing required personal safety equipment.
9. Follows safety, company, and industry policies and procedures.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:1. Fabricates small parts for production machines.
2. Performs special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader and/ or Natural Work Team Leader.
3. Other job duties as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge - Requires good written and verbal communication. Must have basic computer literacy skills and a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, thermal, air flow, and gas supply as well as feed systems and practical applications. Position requires good problem solving techniques. Requires ability to read schematic diagrams and blueprints while troubleshooting maintenance tasks. Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. with 3 to 5 years minimum in industrial maintenance and infrastructure equipment maintenance. Must be able to be certified to drive a forklift and operate man and scissor lifts. (Essential job functions - 1-9)
