Although this role requires extensive enhancements to existing content and Web structure, once this initial work is complete content owners will maintain it. With a multitude of online projects going on at any given time the job will change from day to day and requires someone with good time and project management skills. Essential Functions : Works with Director, Web Strategy and Online Experience to implement Web initiatives and help achieve Web marketing goals. : Interfaces with the Marketing and Information Technology (IT) Departments to provide implementation and day-to-day management of assigned Web sites. : Collaborates with content owners in the development and/or execution of all types of Web content considering the objectives of the organization as well as the habits and behaviors of users. : Develops mechanisms and works with the Marketing Department to convert Web traffic into sales leads, sales transactions and existing customer transactions using Web analytics to aid in measurement of return on investments. : Assists internal customers to help identify Web capabilities and improvements. Works with the IT Business Analysts to translate findings into business requirements. : Provides Web design recommendations and assists in the testing and user acceptance of Web pages and applications. : Supports and protects the company brand and brand guidelines in all Web initiatives. : Provides graphic and artistic support for Web enhancements and new creative initiatives. : Identifies ways to increase search engine optimization (SEO) and social media optimization. : Responds rapidly to continuous changes and real-time updates required to Web sites. : Communicates the status and forecasting of these projects to the internal clients through a variety of methods including project status reports. : Researches competitive online marketing presence/campaigns and maintains a pulse on industry trends and systems; bringing forth ideas that embrace emerging technology/executions and innovative ideas. : Develops metrics for gauging success of enhancements. : Identifies new technologies that will benefit short and long term department goals. : Molds existing content into a valuable resource for both students and prospects. : Enhances or creates optimized style sheets for existing Web sites, landing pages and marketing initiatives. : Identifies areas where social media and dynamic content can be leveraged throughout the site. : Finds ways to dynamically leverage content across multiple sites and platforms. : Creates new and exciting content and multimedia applications to enhance the visual experience. : Provides thought leadership in the areas of Web strategy. : Produces and implements visual enhancements to existing designs. : Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills : Need to have a designer's eye for graphics : Demonstrated proficiency with the following: strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, Flash. : Demonstrated experience managing complex, enterprise-wide Web site initiatives.
