Leads development of Service Level Agreements with customers and stakeholders for application services, including software engineering, quality assurance and business intelligence.

Education and Experience:

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration or related field.

      <description>The Associate Vice President (AVP) will lead teams of Information (IT) professionals in delivering IT systems and services to the company in a technologically sophisticated, high performance, high availability (24 x 7), high demand, high reliability (24 x 7 campus) environment. We must meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for a publicly traded company and has annual growth exceeding 20%. The Associate Vice President will be responsible for multiple organizational dimensions including products, processes, standards and policies and organizational relationships around the enterprise data warehouse, reporting and business intelligence (BI). The Company uses Microsoft Analytic Server, multidimensional database, industry best practice extract, transform, load processes, dashboard software and a corporate data model. The data warehouse and reporting includes configuration, resource monitoring and reporting, troubleshooting, and other available technologies as appropriate. The Associate Vice President works to coordinate software issues with other IT organizations including applications development and operations. 
The immediate focus of the Associate Vice President is to develop an inventory of reports, dashboards and the data warehouse to be used as a basis for a major initiative with a plan for doing the conversions from Cognos and Crystal Reports to SSRS or Tableau, migrating systems from MS Access, getting Tableau deployed and replace ProClarity, expand the use of Tableau within the Company to meet continually changing reporting and information needs, and expanding the Data Warehouse as a foundation for reporting and business intelligence. 
A large number of additional data warehouse, reporting and business intelligence staff will be needed to meet the needs of the Company. The Associate Vice President will lead the preparation and justification of a budget for 2012 with proposed capital projects which would call for additional headcount to make significant progress in satisfying the 200+ reporting requests in backlog. The Associate Vice President will work on hiring company employees and consultants and manage a team of 14 or more people. Demonstrated large team management skills are essential for this position. 
Essential Functions: 
: Leads the data warehouse administration and reporting standard setting functions for the enterprise. : Leads the organization and coordination of the data warehouse to identify and work with business data owners to clarify data policies, access policies, and monitor compliance. : Leads the documentation and manages business rules for enterprise data and metadata. : Manages data warehouse programs to improve data quality, reduce data duplication, and formalize accountability for data to improve business and IT productivity. : Leads the data warehouse lifecycle including requirements analysis, modeling and design, data transformation, database and end user application development. : Architects data warehouse/marts by providing technical infrastructure designs, data mappings/flows, and report dissemination mechanisms. : Assists in troubleshooting and technical system support for the data warehouse design and implementation including the monitoring and reporting of all consultant activities. : Makes assignments and provides direction in the daily activities of the team members. : Leads the development of efficient data queries and stored procedures using Structured Query Language (SQL) according to industry best practices and company standards. : Reviews the compliance of the data warehouse to all mandated requirements, included but not limited to access and archiving of historical data warehouse information. : Serves as a source of documentation and standards to help direct the business intelligence, and data warehouse activities of IT and the enterprise as a whole. : Works closely with other business and IT groups to coordinate current and future plans and activities including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific development projects that involve the computing environment, the coordination of software upgrades and the installation of new products. : Ensures the team is working on the top business priorities. : Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion. : Provides ongoing performance feedback to the team, completes annual performance appraisals for reporting team members, manages and approves time, and performs all other managerial administrative activities for the team. : Establishes and oversees an on-call and escalation process that will ensure rapid and effective response to urgent business issues and be equitable to employees in the support roles. The "on call" staff members and escalation path will be published for all IT to access when necessary. : Ensures that the entire team will be available 24 x 7 to support operations around the use and operations of the data warehouse, reports and dashboards if required.

:	Interfaces with the Marketing and Information Technology (IT) Departments to provide implementation and day-to-day management of assigned Web sites.

:	Collaborates with content owners in the development and/or execution of all types of Web content considering the objectives of the organization as well as the habits and behaviors of users. 

:	Develops mechanisms and works with the Marketing Department to convert Web traffic into sales leads, sales transactions and existing customer transactions using Web analytics to aid in measurement of return on investments.

:	Assists internal customers to help identify Web capabilities and improvements. Works with the IT Business Analysts to translate findings into business requirements.

:	Provides Web design recommendations and assists in the testing and user acceptance of Web pages and applications.

:	Supports and protects the company brand and brand guidelines in all Web initiatives.

:	Provides graphic and artistic support for Web enhancements and new creative initiatives.

:	Identifies ways to increase search engine optimization (SEO) and social media optimization.
