      <description>Our client, with several offices nationally is seeking a Sales Manager for their San Diego office. 
 
Are you confident and capable of prospecting for new business?  Are you a self-starter who is capable of getting past gate-keepers?  Do you consider yourself results driven?  You may be the ideal candidate for this opportunity.
 
Ideal candidates would hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Hospitality or a related area. We are looking for a seasoned player who comes from a background of sales in the Meetings, Incentive, Conferences, and Events segment. You must have a great personality, be creative, and very organized to be successful.  
 
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Establishing relationships and securing business from prospective clients; selling event services to major national and international corporations, associations, and incentive travel companies.
- Establishing relationships and securing business referrals from targeted major hotel partners.
- Develop strategy and plan for each potential client and partner.
- Based on a consultative sales approach define what services best fit the clients established needs, then partner with your Account Manager to design and develop an effective meetings and events solution for your client.
- Present our service offerings to client, negotiate, and close the deal.
- Continue to participate in client relationship ensuring the client is satisfied and their dream becomes a reality through internal partnership.
- Partner with internal and external partners to develop and execute site inspections guaranteed to win the client for life.
- Review all contracts and client invoices
- Attend local and national industry events and tradeshows

      <description>Our client a premier events management/destination management firm is seeking experienced candidates for a Senior Operations Manager/Director of Operations opening. Ideal candidates will have a history of success working for a DMC or related industry service provider. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, time management, communication, and computer skills.
 
Responsibilities will include: 


Executing the program as sold by the Account Executive while exceeding client expectations and requirements. 


Being available to the client, the hotel and the vendors and field staff at all times. 


Assist by acting as a mentor and trainer of Account Managers.


Attend site visits


Attend client meetings or conference calls


Pre-book transportation


Pre-book field staff


Communicate with Client to confirm all needs are correct based on the contract


Communicate with Hotel contact


Communicate with Vendors and confirm vendor contracts


Conduct site visits with or without clients with vendors


Breakout Arrival and Departure manifests


Book transportation


Order Field Staff


Order any necessary merchandise or supplies


Generate Program Recap and distribute to client, hotels and internal contacts


Generate Staff instructions and Staff paperwork


Assist client if they need additional items for their program


Generating Service Agreement Addendums


Attending client/hotel pre-cons


Meet with clients to go over the program


Manage and be on-site for any themed events, transportation moves, tours, teambuilding, off-property events, etc.


Update manifests


Update transportation needs


Update field staff requests


Update XE costing sheets


Reconcile any vendor invoices


Create Preliminary Invoice


Organize file for Billing


Review Final Invoice with Billing


Review P&amp;amp;L


Follow up with client with Final Invoice and Evaluation
